Calimesa designers to unveil new ideas, promote local businesses

Local designers Aubrey Ward and Michael Jordan will present their interior designs in the 2009 Plantation Showcase House from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at Plantation on the Lakes, 10961 Desert Lawn Drive, Calimesa.  On Oct. 25, they will hold the annual Sunday Smooth Jazz Brunch at the same location.  Admission is free. Food vouchers: $12.50 (covers both days).  Several local businesses are participating in the event as well, including Landeros Furniture in Beaumont, Tom Bell Chevrolet in Redlands, Gary Richards Real Estate Co. in Yucaipa and Bob's Big Boy in Calimesa. Plantation on the Lakes is also one of the event's primary supporters.
