Consumer counseling nonprofit to hold ID theft prevention seminar

Springboard, a nonprofit consumer credit counseling service, will host an identity theft awareness and prevention seminar from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, at its Riverside office, 1605 Spruce St. Speakers will include a representative from the U.S. Secret Service and from the Corona Police Department.  On-site document shredding will be available, courtesy of Rancho Cucamonga-based Southland Shredding.  Information: (800) 947-3752; www.credit.org
