The Arrowhead Regional Medical Center Foundation recently announced that it will award five scholarships, each worth $3,000 for school tuition, to deserving nursing students as part of an effort to develop an adequate and diverse nursing work force in the Inland Empire.  According to the hospital news release, registered nursing or licensed vocational nursing students must be enrolled or accepted in an accredited nursing program in San Bernardino or Riverside counties, must reside in Riverside or San Bernardino counties and meet other requirements to be eligible.  Applications must be received by Dec. 1, and winners will be announced in January.  Application, instructions and a complete list of eligibility requirements are available online at www.arrowheadmedcenter.org
