Cal State San Bernardino's Energy Efficiency and Infrastructure Upgrade Project has been awarded the 2009 Energy Project of the Year: National by the Association of Energy Engineers.  The award "is given each year to individuals and organizations that have achieved national and international prominence in promoting the practices and principles of energy engineering and energy management," according to a news release.  This also is the third year in a row that the university's facilities services department has received best practice awards from the UC/CSU/CCCC Sustainability Conference for the energy efficiency programs that have been implemented on campus.  Information: www.csusb.edu
