ESRI's GIS selected by gas company in the United Kingdom

National Grid Gas in the United Kingdom recently selected Redlands-based ESRI geographic information system software for its gas distribution front-office transformation program. The agency plans to "improve operational efficiency and enhance customer service" with ESRI's GIS and other IT upgrades, according to a news release. National Grid chose ESRI from a global pool of all major GIS vendors.
