IEEP to hold inaugural energy summit this week in Ontario

The Inland Empire Economic Partnership will hold its inaugural energy summit, "Energy, Economics and the Environment: Creating a Sustainable Future," from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the DoubleTree Hotel, 222 N. Vineyard Ave., Ontario. The keynote speaker will be Mary Nichols, chairwoman of the California Air Resources Board. The event's sponsors are Southern California Gas Company and Southern California Edison, as well as San Bernardino County's Economic Development Agency. Cost: $50.
