Job fair aims to fill 1,500 civilian Naval jobs

The Naval Surface Warfare Center's Corona division held a national hiring event from 3 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10.  The event, which is part of an effort to fill more than 1,500 science and engineering jobs throughout Naval Sea Systems Command's 33 sites, was be held at John F. Kennedy Middle College High School on Riverside Community College's Norco campus, 1951 Third St.  Job seekers met with Navy personnel to learn about civilian employment opportunities with the Navy's largest systems command, ranging from science, engineering, math and physics to business, contracts and logistics.  Information: www.corona.navy.mil/hiring
