Renters' rights organization expands foreclosure hot line

| | Comments (0) |
Tenants Together, an organization for renters' rights, is expanding its hot line for tenants in foreclosure situations in California.  Since emerging in March, the hot line has served nearly 2,000 tenants, mitigating the impact of the foreclosure crisis on tenants by helping them learn and assert their rights, according to a news release.  As part of the expansion, the hot line has added a full time program coordinator, increased the number of trained volunteer counselors and added an online intake form and other Web-based resources.  Information: (888) 495-8020; www.tenantstogether.org/hotlineintake
