SB County businesses for sale changing hands at faster pace

According to figures turned in by BizBen.com -- Businesses for Sale in California, 58 businesses were sold in San Bernardino County in October. The monthly average in June to September was 45 sales.  Ontario recorded the highest number of deals, with 10 closed escrows during the month, according to BizBen.com.  There were seven completed deals in Rancho Cucamonga, and the third highest level of activity was in Chino with six sales.  There currently are about 320 businesses for sale in the county, according to the site.  Statewide, 1,314 businesses were sold in October, a boost in activity compared to the figures posted in June through September, when the average was about 1,000 per month.
