County agency allocates funds for automotive training course
The
Workforce Investment Board
of San Bernardino County has allocated funds to an automotive training course called
Auto Quikserve,
which will provide 25 residents with entry-level training in automotive service, repair, diagnosis and maintenance. Applications are being accepted. The course, for students ages 18 to 21, will start Jan. 27 and last 10 weeks. Class will meet 3:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesdays and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays at Ontario High School. The 90-hour course will be taught by
National Automotive Technician Education Foundation-
