Lawmaker taking nominations for green business program

| | Comments (0) |

Assemblyman Bill Emmerson, R-Rancho Cucamonga, is starting a program to encourage and acknowledge businesses that have "implemented environmentally responsible business practices."  Each quarter, Emmerson will highlight a business in the 63rd Assembly District that uses "green" technology to "promote a healthy environment for their customers, employees and community."

"Many people are becoming more environmentally conscious and when making a choice of where to do business, many are choosing to go towards a business that can produce a similar product, for the same price, but with an added benefit of using green technology," Emmerson said in a news release. "Recognizing these businesses is our way of saying thank you for creating jobs and boosting our local economy by attracting more consumers to the Inland Empire."
