Stater Bros. executive elected chairman of state industry group

George Frahm, executive vice president of retail operations and administration for San Bernardino-based Stater Bros. Markets has been elected chairman of the California Grocers Association's board of directors.  According to an association news release, Frahm will oversee the association's programs during his year-long term. He succeed Bob Ling, executive vice president and general counsel for Unified Grocers Inc. in Commerce.
