Workforce Investment Board funds training programs at college

The Workforce Investment Board of San Bernardino County has allocated more than $700,000 in federal stimulus funds to Rancho Cucamonga-based Chaffey College for training programs, according to a news release.  The classes include: "Medical Billing and Coding," "Vocational English as a Second Language," "LEED-Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design," "Energy Efficiency Retrofit Technician," "Home Entertainment and Telecom Technician" and "Automotive Repair Technician."  A kick-off event will take place 3-6 tonight at the Chino Community Building, 5890 College Park Ave.
