Corona mattress maker launches initiative to help Haitians

Anatomic Global, a mattress manufacturer in Corona, recently announced that it is joining five of its suppliers in donating "transitional" mattresses to Haitians displaced by the devastating earthquake last month.  The first 500 mattresses were shipped from Southern California in late January, and were distributed through Parakletos International and Calvary Chapels.  Several thousand mattresses will continue to be shipped until the company reaches its goal of supplying 200,000, according to a news release.  Joining Anatomic Global are FXI Foamex Innovations, UPS, Deslee Textiles USA, Royal Packaging and the Brookwood Companies.  Information: www.ecomfortmattress.com
