Loss prevention firm hires sales vice president

Universal Surveillance Systems, a Rancho Cucamonga-based manufacturer of loss-prevention technology, has announced that industry executive Jerry Kendall has been appointed senior vice president of global sales and service.  Formerly executive vice president of a division that covers North and South America, which is now a subsidiary of Tyco International, Kendall brings more than 20 years of experience in loss prevention, executive management, sales and technology, according to a news release.
