Pomona seminar to look at navigating the music industry

Martin Atkins, onetime drummer for Nine Inch Nails and founder of the band Pigface, will speak at noon today at Cal Poly Pomona on how to carve out a career in the music business.  The seminar will cover strategies to sustain a career, gaining sponsorships, practice guerrilla marketing and engaging in other entrepreneurial activity, according to a news release.  The event, in Building 24, Room 101, is open to the public.
