The Inland Empire chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners will hold its first "Legislative Day" at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 18 at the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario.  "The purpose of the Legislative Day is to educate women business owners on key legislative issues that impact small business owners and to teach business owners about local, state and national government programs available to assist small business in their growth and expansion," according to a news release.  Among the topics that will be addressed at the meeting are government contracting opportunities for businesses, business friendly legislation, resources from the Small Business Administration for business owners and legislation that business owners should oppose.  Legislators or their staff will serve on a panel moderated by the Inland Empire group's board members and will answer questions generated.  Information: www.nawbo-ie.org
