why only state workers? what about the thousands of people who lost their jobs or barely can make ends meet?
why are state workers so “protected?” in many cases these furlough employees are much better shape the average californian. i know many people who would gladly take a one day/week furlough vs. losing their job outright.
fact is we have to many state workers and like the private sector it should be mandatory layoffs NOT furloughs.
Chas,
You are right. We are now offering Free Federal Tax Returns to the first 20 on Saturday February 21, 2009.
Thanks,
Suzy
