San Bernardino Associated Governments, the transportation planning agency for San Bernardino County, will receive $9.95 million from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act “to assist in the construction of clean-energy projects and facilities in the Inland Empire,” according to a news release from the office of Rep. Joe Baca, D-San Bernardino. The money will be used to support the J.B. Hunt LNG Truck Project’s Made in America Initiative, which aims to deploy 262 heavy-duty liquid natural gas trucks in Southern California and construct two LNG refueling stations in the Inland Empire, including one in San Bernardino.
