Victorville center to offer work-readiness training

The Victor Valley Family Resource Center, which will provide area residents with literacy, computer skills, life-skill services and work-readiness training, will hold it’s grand opening from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 14 at 16857 C St., Victorville.  According to a news release, the center’s goal is “to enrich the lives of the families most traumatized by the economy and to divert our youth from getting involved in crime, violence and gangs.”  Information: (760) 955-8866.
