American States Water Co., headquartered in San Dimas, on Monday announced a $15.6 million profit for the quarter that ended Sept. 30.
The company’s profit figure compares with the nearly $6.7 million earned during the same three month period last year.
Through the first nine months of this year, American States reported $39.1 million in profit, compared with $24.1 million last year.
American States Water Co. is the parent company of Golden State Water Co., which delivers water to customers in places including Claremont, Pomona, Apple Valley and Barstow.
