After they are collected, Valentines and much-needed supplies will be packaged and shipped by Touch of Home to soldiers overseas for Valentine’s Day.

Electricians, masons, operating engineers, nurses, members of other trades as well as the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department are scheduled to participate in the 10th annual Union Apprenticeship and Training Forum.
The event is will be open to students and others interested viewing job demonstrations and learning more about possible career opportunities in various trades. The Central Labor Council AFL/CIO of San Bernardino and Riverside Counties will sponsor the event in coordination with the San Bernardino Superintendent of Schools.

A 7-Eleven-anchored shopping center in San Bernardino that features a recharging station that can simultaneously power multiple electric vehicles has sold to an undisclosed buyer, according to brokerage Colliers International.
The sale signifies the first time a shopping center with an electric charging station designed to recharge multiple vehicles in a gas station-like manner has sold in the United States, according to Colliers International.
The shopping center sold for for a little more than $2 million. Los Angeles-based developer ICO Real Estate Group developed the shopping center, which is near the crossing of 40th Street and Sierra Avenue in northern San Bernardino.

State Sen. Bob Dutton, R-Rancho Cucamonga, is scheduled to speak at the San Bernardino Area Chamber of Commerce’s legislative breakfast.
Dutton is scheduled to address political issues affecting business and his views on how redistricting may affect the Legislature. Security Bank of California announced Thursday that former UC Riverside athletic director Stan Morrison has joined the bank as senior vice president and sales development director.
Security Bank of California has branches in San Bernardino and Redlands. The company’s headquarters are in Riverside.
Morrison also serves as president of Olive Crest’s board of trustees. Olive Crest is a charity that provides foster homes and other assistance for abused and neglected children. His charitable activities also include Inland Empire Boy Scouts of America, Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center and Father of the Year Committee for the American Diabetes Association.
Moss Bros. Auto Group has begun its annual food drive at the Riverside-based company’s nine dealerships.
The company’s dealerships include Moss Bros. Chrysler Jeep Dodge in San Bernardino. Moss Bros. also operate several dealerships in Moreno Valley and Riverside.
Moss Bros. plans to deliver the food Nov. 22 to Second Harvest Food Bank, which aids the needy in San Bernardino and Riverside counties.
