Kohl’s building in Upland sells for $15.43 million

Real estate firm Faris Lee Investments has brokered the $15.43 million sale of the Kohl’s building at 233 S. Mountain Avenue in Upland.

The 76,712-square-foot building was built in 1978 and renovated in 2009. The property is part of the Mountain Green shopping center.

Faris Lee president Rich Walter and senior managing director Donald MacLellan represented the seller, a Lubert-Adler Management West partnership and the buyer, YFP Kohls Upland LLC. Both parties are based in Los Angeles.

Faris Lee Investments is based in Irvine.

Upland chamber networking event set for Friday

The Upland Chamber of Commerce’s networking breakfast, First Friday, will be on Friday at the Carnegie Building.

The event’s topic is “Beyond Social Media: Other Fun Tools to Gain Visibility in Your Market.”

The cost is $10 for members and $15 for others. Brunswick Zone is the sponsor and Pine Haven Catering & Confections is providing the breakfast. Check in begins at 7 a.m. The Carnegie Building is at 123 E. D St. in Upland.
