ambulance.jpg After running a red light, a motorist in Willowbrook on Thursday night crashed into a Metro bus, knocking the bus driver onto the street where he was pinned under the vehicle and later died, authorities said.

Metro bus driver Gregory Bradly died at the scene. The crash happened around 8:44 p.m. at 120th Street and Wilmington Avenue.

Bradly was heading west on 119th street when he was hit by the oncoming car coming north on Wilmington Avenue. Force of the impact threw Bradly out the driver's window, and he was then run over by the rear wheels. The motorist was taken to Saint Francis Medical Center in Lynwood.
