Police chase shuts down 405 Freeway offramp

If you were caught in traffic this morning around North Hills, it's because police there were on the hunt for a car-theft suspect who led officers on a chase, reports City News Service.

Authorities set up a perimeter near the Nordhoff Street offramp from the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway about 5 a.m., said California Highway Patrol Officer Francisco Villalobos.

The offramp remained closed some four hours later, Villalobos said.
