Lakewood had a 10-0 lead in the first half, but Poly rallied late. It was 10-10 miday through the fourth quarter and Lakewood had the ball around its own 40, but the Poly defense came up with a big interception, and turned it into a field goal. Another pick that Poly turned into a Melvin Richardson touchdown, and that was it. Props to Poly. Again.
That was one heck of a ball game. Poly did what they had to do when it counted, but I definitely have to give props to Lakewood. That defense was pretty stout and Stone/Scroggins are the real deal. I was impressed. What killed them was the turnover on the Poly 20 with about 8:00 left in the game. I think Poly's physical play wore them down over the course of the game, but for 3 quarters they were pretty much blow-for-blow.

jesse flopped, lakewood wouldve won if those 2 ints werent thrown. and that Wide open dropped ball in the endzone wouldve totally changed the game wuldve made it 14-0 stupid mistakes cost them. and stone's back has actually been bothering him for a while thats why he wasnt in alot in the 2nd half good game tho
