Why are you so intent on s@#!-stirring? Poly fans/parents/students/athletes know what an insidious, and to those of us not writing ANONYMOUS blogs about it, serious issue gang violence is. Our school--almost all schools--have had trouble with it too. It's a serious, real problem that is killing our children, not fodder for sensationalized news stories.
It's a private matter--the kid is a minor, let him and his family and his team deal with it privately. Football starts in seven days--why don't you take a break from the S@#!-stirring and start writing about the kids who are going to be on the field playing? THere's a lot of great ones in this city, if you took the time to notice instead of trying to bait readers.
Of course the Long Beach Poly Telegram would let an idiot like the shadow write for them.
As normal for Poly fans they would say something tasteless,rude,and classless just like they do at the games.
Why don't you care what the other Moore league teams feel?Or is just Poly cause you know they will say something childish.
We don't care!!!! This is already OLD news and this isn't uncommon......In Long Beach, it will always be about the Green And Gold, until someone else wins an important game. Also, we don't have to kick you when you're down to beat you, so the only thing that matters between Poly and Lakewood will be October 9th at Veteran's stadium for bragging rights. Change the subject please!!!
Wow! This is for Anonymous. Is your deep hatred for Poly high , fans ,and the football team come from years of us pounding your team,or all the cverage we get from the Long Beach Press Telegram? I'm sorry for that! All I want to say to you is get over it, and stand in line with the rest of them. There is nothing more childish than a grown up pouting about high school fans passion for their team!
I understand that you have to be coached well and have good players to be successful(win). Poly has been successful for over a decade, but I believe that Lakewood has skilled and great players this season to finally end their 25 year plus losing season against Poly. Sometimes it is just the law of average, you're going to lose eventually. If Lakewood doesn't beat Poly and win the Moore League I will be shocked. Don't let the Polls fool you, even the Press Telegram. Lakewood has the superior weapons this year to win.
Poly is not reloading this year, they have to rebuild, Look out in 2010.
