After 1 and 2, where do you go from there? No. 3 Poly lost; No. 4 Jordan lost; No. 5 Compton lost; No. 7 Bosco lost; and No. 9 Millikan lost. How high can you lift undefeated Warren and/or Norwalk in the rankings?
Year in and year out we here this is the year Lakewood high will be on top! Let's put present and past facts out there! Who have they played? -- CRENSHAW AND THEY LOST-- Have they won a Moore league championship in the last 10 years?--"NO EVEN WITH IN-ELIGIBLE PLAYERS AND PLAYERS FROM OUTSIDE THE AREA, STILL HAVE NOT ONE THE MOORE LEAGUE" -- Year in and Year out we here the same story -- When they win lets give them the hype! Fact is that your talking about a town that bases there programs on kids from COMPTON, LONG BEACH, and some other surrounding areas-- play with kids from LAKEWOOD and then HYPE IT UP! If this were to come into play this school wouldn't have a leg to stand on! BOTTOM LINE, LAKEWOOD SHOULD FOCUS MORE ON DISCIPLINE ON THE FIELD TAKE A LOOK AT THERE UNSPORTSMANLIKE YARDS TAKEN AWAY-- SEEN THEM PLAY-- CLASS A QUARTERBACK BUT YOU NEED 10 MORE PLAYERS TO PLAY THE GAME!!!!
I don't know what else to say to you "area fan," other than you are dumb. Long Beach Poly does not have people just from LONG BEACH. They have to recruit somehow because it is pretty known that they dont have kids just from LONG BEACH, kids come from surrounding cities just as any other school. Schools with top notch programs do not have kids from their own town. The only public high schools in Lakewood are MAYFAIR, ARTESIA, and LAKEWOOD. Each is on the border of another city so of course there is going to be kids from Bellflower, Cerritos, or Long Beach in those schools. Lakewood High happens to be right there in Lakewood near Long Beach which is why there is so many kids from there. What are they supposed to say, "Oh no, you're from Long Beach we want to base our program off of just Lakewood kids?" Think about it dumb***.
