utley will hit 2 homers tonite
Anonymous is WRONG! But what do you expect.... Anonymous is wrong most of the time! Also Chase Utley is a Long Beach Poly Grad not Wilson not Lakewood Not Millikan.
His family lives in Virginia Country Club area. - why does it matter though
"I hate everytime they talk about Poly"
Poly, Poly, Poly.
Millikan, Wilson, Lakewood, and Jordan fans.
It's so hard to be a Rabbit.
thats jordans district...virginia country club...loss cerritos elem......nice area...
the area where thr black losers beat the white girls up
I love how the Shadow tries to play off like he is not some big Poly Homer. Every story that comes from the Shadow has to do with something great about Poly.
I mean, great for Chase Utley but he doesn't need the Shadow's help.
Well spoken action jackson that all this paper do is favor long beach schools poly as been in these paper more then i care to read about.... thats why i stop buying it after 7 years tire of the bull about only one school or any school in long beach
You guys that post on the Blogs always have to put someone or some team down... Why can't you just come on and say something good about a player or a team! Poly wins in football - Wilson in Waterpolo - Millikan in Golf and so on! Just get on here and support your Player/Team and say positive things for the young men and women to read!
Well John clearly you have no idea what you are talking about. Besides, Blogs are great forums for venting you frustrations, giving props to your favorite schools victory or hating on the favoratism of the Shadow and the PT towards LB Poly.
I guess we can do it your way, (the old school way) and fight about it in the stands of a high school athletic event.
Just to give some of you a lesson on basic sports journalism: The teams that are the most successful generally get more coverage. If Cabrillo had won 80 Moore League games in a row, they would have gotten the kind of coverage Poly has received over the past 15 years. Think about it... why do the Lakers get the coverage they do compared to the Clippers? It's success, my friends, success. We at the P-T have no preference of Poly. In fact, we have staff writers who work and have worked in sports who went to Moore League schools OTHER than Poly. It's the same reason why some sports get better coverage than others. Football is more popular than cross country, so football gets better coverage. Do the math. Figure it out. Period. End of story.
