lakewood edison is on saturday
At last, a test against the big dogs of the bracket. I wonder, though, if it's going to be at OCC, Cerritos College or at Edison.
It's a thing that makes you go "Hmmmmm..." Well done, crew.
Congrats to Jesse Scroggins who became the first QB at Lakewood High to advance his team to back to back CIF Semi Final appearances.
Game is Sat. not Fri.
Great game last night. Now lets keep it going. The Lancers did us proud.
Also, I have to say congrats to Poly for turning their season around and getting as far as they got.

want to comend long beach poly football team for a tough season. what started as a nightmare, some would say, but ended with a light at the end. something to build on for next year. game against servite was a true test to their season. i believe the call made by the zebra of p.i on poly was very questionable. the refs changed the outcome of the game, not the players. none the less, poly will regroup and be back on top next season. there is an old saying, every dog has its day. in this case, rarely for poly, was the year. enjoy it know, because poly will make another 10, 20, maybe 30 year run before it has another season like this year. as i always say, poly is the best there is, the best there was, and forever the best will ever be.
Pete Carroll will be left wishing he had recruited the Edison QB over Scroggins this week. No comparison, as you will all see.
