You may be correct Mr. Shadow:Lakewood will play Edison in the Pac 5 semis. Hopefully The Lancers' talented USC-bound QB will put on an impressive show;however, Edison is just too good:why are Maxpreps No. 2 in the nation?
Edison is good because of the coaching. They expect a lot from the team and the team delivers.
Don't count Newport Harbor out. They beat Los Al. May be in over their heads in the Sunset League, but they are TOUGH.

Edison has great coaches, and some that have been at the school for a long time; like head coach White - 30 plus years and line coach Harry Schmidt - over 24.
But Edison has great athletes - the guys that actually the play the game on the field.
In the final analysis, the players make the difference.
