District 2 Councilwoman Margaret McAustin is inviting her Central District constituents (come on, like she's checking ID's?) to catch a movie under the stars on Friday night on Craig Avenue "between Brigden and Woodlyn" according to her 100% legal mailer.
The movie? E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial. Yeah.
Call me when The Night Porter or Blue Velvet is showing.

Victor Gordo is showing "Rudy" and "The Longest Yard" (with Burt Reynolds) the same day.
I thought Victor was showing "Brians Song" about the relationship between Gale Sayers and Brian Piccolo. Victor was also going to give the youngsters a clinic on blocking and interference.
Gordo will also be demonstrating how he uses the cities traffic camera system to calculate which fast food joints have the shortest drive thru lines at any given point of time.
I thought Gordo would be unveiling his new West Coast Offense plan for City Council meetings.

Gordo knows the fastest way to both In & Out and Rancheros on Foothill Blvd. Man that guy can eat. I bet Souplantation and Hometown Buffet lock the doors when they see him coming.
I heard Gordo wants to change the official name of Pasadena from "The Crown City" to "The Super Size City".

You all took a very nice community experience and turned into a rag-fest on Victor...that's kinda mean.
As much as I enjoy some Victor-baiting, he was getting at another potential flaw/vulnerability in the Heritage Square proposal under consideration.
Remember six weeks or so ago when the North Lake Specific Plan was being reviewed, drive-thrus were a significant point of contention.

I heard that Victor Gordo really wants to save Church's Chicken and now you've all confirmed why. That guy can eat. Rumor has it that he visits Gold's Gym on occasion but I truly believe that the only thing he lifts is his fork. Saying that, the guy who really should be hitting the gym is that Maserati Madison cat. World traveler, phone in councilman, newly single and has the body of Don Knotts. With all his money he should have a personal chef and trainer. Got to look good for those young ones.
I heard Madison's girlfriend is a 25 year old bank teller with the body of an exotic dancer. Madison is 50 years old.
Madison must need a trophy babe to decorate the Mazerati.
