NBC will put the pedal to the Rodeo Drive meddeling, airing the finale of Amgen’s Tour of Cal for first time

The May 13-20 Amgen Tour of California cycling race will end for the first time with coverage on NBC from 10 a.m. to noon as Stage 8 goes from Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills and finish off 42-some miles later at L.A. Live near Staples Center.

After it airs on KNBC-Channel 4, it will repeat on the NBC Sports Network from 3:30 to 6 p.m.

Phil Liggett, Paul Sherwen and Bob Roll will report on the event as they have in the past.

NBC Sports Network, which has carried this top cycling event back when it was called the Outdoors Network and Versus, starts on Sunday, May 13 at 2 p.m. from
Santa Rosa. The network’s coverage will continue each day from 2-to-4 p.m. live, except for Stage 7 which ends in Mt. Baldy and airs from 4-to-6 p.m.
