A clock continues ticking on the top right corner of DodgerBlues.com’s home page, marking “the time since the last meaningful Dodger moment.”
That would be Kirk Gibson’s 1988 World Series Game 1 walk-off homer that sparked the team to a championship. Thus, the digital numbers read T-plus 29 years … wait, the days and hours seem …
“I know, somehow it’s off by about 20 days now,” Josh Segal admitted, dipping another tortilla chip in the hot sauce at a Sherman Oaks Mexican restaurant over lunch. “I don’t know what happened or how to fix it.”
That’s a minor glitch.
