For Carson Palmer, the former USC quarterback and budding NFL star in Cincinnati, the word of the day is "cornhole."
Can you use it in a sentence?
What's the origin?
Are you sure you want to go there?

Palmer, coming back from a torn-up knee suffered in the opening of the Cincinnati Bengals' playoff game last fall and the subject of a Sports Illustrated cover story on May 29 (that's him in a giant swimming pool), is helping a local youth group by sponsoring the Inaugural Carson Palmer Cornhole Classic.

The kid from the OC with the funny haircut is all about the cornhole.

Maybe it's a regional thing. We're not familiar with this activity, at least, not in how to make it a fundraiser.

In a recent story Carson did with AskMen.com, this subject wasn't broached.

There's the American Cornhole Association, where it's all explained.

There's the Cornhole Game Association, where the rules are spelled out.

The Cincinnati Enquirer story out there from 2002 calling cornhole "the world's best-kept secret," an activity that actually originated in that fine city. Although, Chicago claims to have a big following.

The secret's out.
Thanks, Cars-holio.

Explaining cornholing is easy. It's what Trojan quarterbacks do every year to the Bruins.

Enjoy reading all you guys on the internet every day. The section is well written and edited. Even the mug shots are decent, which is unusual in the paper business.
