Did this offend you?
Then apparently, you aren't gay enough.
Monday, the L.A.-based Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) and something called the Matthew Shepard Foundation "strongly condemned elements of an ad campaign" that Snickers used in Super Bowl XLI that you probably missed while heading to the restroom to freshen up a bit.
Meanwhile, the Snickers makers (Mars) has the commercial up on its site showing some alternate endings -- one, a version where, instead of ripping their chest hair, one guy grabs a wrench and bashes the other, who then slams the hood of the car down on his head.
Hardy har har. (With a very small snicker).
Mars wants people to decide which of its new three endings will air on a version that'll go on Fox's coverage of the Feb. 18 Daytona 500. Why not let the GLADD keep protesting. It'll only keep drawing attention to the spots that otherwise no one would remember.
