So Cal's All-Time Roster: No. 56
No. 56:
Our pick:
==Jarrod Washburn, Angels (1998-'05)
One of the most productive left-handed pitchers during his eight-year run with the Angels, Washburn had an 18-6 record and 3.15 ERA during the 2002 regular-season run to the World Series. In one stretch from April 19 to July 21, he won a club record 12 consecutive games. Fourth in the Cy Young voting that year, he also had personal bests in starts (32), ERA, innings pitched (206) and strike outs (139), as the team's first 18-game winner since 1991. The Angels were 22-10 in games he started, and he set a club record winning 13 games on the road.
The following three seasons, however, Washburn was a combined 29-31. The Angels didn't offer him a new deal, and he ended up signing a $38 million, four-year contract with Seattle before the 2006 season.

==Pedro Astacio, Dodgers ('92-'97)
