Parros cuts loose

nhl_g_parros_200.jpgFor Anaheim Ducks winger George Parros, it’s off with his hair this weekend. Known for his black moustache and shaggy hair, Parros has agreed to get a trim and donate it to Locks of Love, a nonprofit Florida-based charity that provides hairpieces to children who’ve lost their hair because of medical reasons. Since Parros began his pro hockey career with the Kings, he has been growing his hair long each season to make a yearly donation. The charity requires donated hair to be at least 10 inches long and cannot be bleached. locks%20of%20love2a.jpgFans were invited to join Parros in donating their hair, and the Ducks said all the spots were filled for Saturday’s “Cut for the Kids” event at the Newport Sports Museum in Newport Beach. Professional stylists will volunteer to do the cutting.
