Huh.. huh ... she said 'Octopus'

Abbey Crandall has been enlisted to work for NHL.com to visit the Superior Fish Co. in Royal Oak, Mich., to show everyone where Detroit Red Wings fans go to get the "O-fish-al" octopi for throwing onto the ice during the NHL playoffs.
And that becomes important as the Wings ready themselves for the Dallas Stars to start the Western Conference finals on Thursday.
Where did the tradition come from? What does the eight legs of the octopus represent? Can you get in trouble for tossin' one? Is there an official Red Wings octopus mascot?
Ol' Abbey wasn't so up on that. Or maybe it wasn't important. Or her brain couldn't hold all info.
Her eyes do get big when she's shown a 20-pound 'pus caught off Pugent Sound (hardly the biggest one the company has ever had -- that would be a 72 pounder back in '99 that had a 15-foot tentical span) that's for sale ($3.95 a pound) in the glass case.
Then Abbey gets a lesson on how to throw a 'pus that's worth the price of admission.
"Ahhh. it's slimy ... I'm losing it," she exclaims at the end of the 7-minute piece....
Aw, just watch it for yourself...
