Morning_Light_1sheet-lrg.jpg"Morning Light: Making the Cut," a one-hour documentary about how 15 kids were picked and trained to sail a high-tech, high-performance 52-foot boat in last year's TransPac race from L.A. to Hawaii, airs today on ESPN2 (5 p.m.), with repeats on Thursday at 5 p.m. and 9 p.m.

This is a prequel to the documentary film "Morning Light," produced by Roy E. Disney and Leslie DeMeuse, who recruited the sailors and documented their 2,500-mile journey from start to finish. That film hits theaters nationwide Friday, Oct. 17.
