Coming Sunday: The sports Christmas list, according to your budget

We've got a few ideas in Sunday's column, ranging from the $500 "Under The Lights" experience with the Dodgers next month, down to a $1.50 reduced item we saw for anyone who's still an Elton Brand fan and wants to skirt the law.

The one thing we dare not post, because someone may outbid us:

18bygone.jpgOver there on that eBay.com thing, there's a once-in-someone's-lifetime experience being offered (that could set a trend, so watch out): The Forth Worth (Texas) Cats minor-league baseball team is offering you a chance to be its first base coach for a minimum of six games in the 2009 season. They'll also retire your number, for whatever that's worth.

Opening bid: $1,999.99. (linked here). The bidding ends Sunday at about 12:30 p.m.

== Some other decent suggestions offered by ESPN.com, including things subdivided into golf, women's gifts, high tech, books and video games (linked here)
