SI.com asked EA Sports to take the top 12 teams in the BCS poll, create a playoff bracket, and let 'er rip.

The results (linked here) don't fare too well for Trojan fans.

In round one, fifth-seeded USC edges No. 11 seed Virginia Tech, 26-20, in overtime. The EA Sports Football 09 game (linked here) spit out this info: Somehow the Hokies rolled up 438 yards on the stingy Trojans, and Mark Sanchez threw three picks, but Southern Cal got a huge game from wideout Patrick Turner, who caught nine passes for 118 yards and a score.

In the second round, it got uglier. No. 4 seed Alabama pulls off a 34-31 victory. The synopsis: John Parker Wilson (must say all three names) went off, throwing for 380 yards and four touchdowns, including a 73-yard scoring strike. This will be sure to raise some howls from Pac-10 folk.

In the end, No. 2 Florida knocks off No. 1 Oklahoma 46-42 as Tim Tebow throws for four TDs and 350 yards. Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford throws for 335 yards, 2 TDs and one pick.
