L.A.'s college football TV schedule Week 15: Either God bless this mess, or don't mess with Texas ... what is it?

What do Texas and Texas Tech fans have to gripe about? No Big 12 title shot? No BCS title shot, with just one loss?

I say, I say ... Why not just get out the six-shooters and fire 'em at anything moving.

You had a president in the oval office the last eight years, and you never twisted his arm to get the BCS fixed?

Too late.

The next leader of the free world seems to have this on his agenda, whether or not it helps the University of Hawaii get into an eight-team playoff at the end of the season.

Let's move on, clean up the 2008-09 debacle, and forge ahead with blinders:

==Saturday, 1:30 p.m., Channel 7: USC at UCLA (with Mike Patrick, Todd Blackledge and Holly Rowe). Prime Ticket has a pre-game show at 1 p.m. and a post-game show at 5 p.m.

THURSDAY:

==4:30 p.m., ESPN: Louisville at Rutgers (with Chris Fowler, Craig James, Jesse Palmer and Erin Andrews)

FRIDAY:

==5 p.m., ESPN2: Mid-American Conference championship game: No. 12 Ball St. (12-0) vs. Buffalo, at Detroit (with Sean McDonough, Chris Spielman and Rob Stone)

SATURDAY:

==7-to-9 a.m., ESPN: "GameDay" avoids L.A. and of course goes to Atlanta for Florida-Alabama in the SEC title game, but at least you can review Chris Fowler challenging "Tommy Trojan" to a push-up challenge (linked here) until "an old bowling injury" interrupts it. After this one, Kirk Herbstreit hops a jet to Kansas City to call that night's Big 12 title game.

==9 a.m., Channel 2: Army vs. Navy, at Philadelphia
==9 a.m., ESPN and ESPN360.com: No. 23 Pittsburgh (8-3) at Connecticut (with Bob Wischusen and Brock Huard)
==9 a.m., ESPN2 and ESPN360.com: Conference USA Championship: East Carolina at Tulsa (with Dave Pasch and Andre Ware)
==9 a.m., ESPN Classic and ESPN360.com: NCAA Division II semifinal: Minnesota Duluth at California (Penn.) (with Eric Collins and Jon Ritchie)
==10 a.m., Channel 7: ACC championship game at Tampa, Fla.: No. 17 Boston College (9-3) vs. No. 25 Virginia Tech (8-4) (with Brad Nessler, Bob Griese, Paul Maguire and Stacey Dales)

==Noon, Fox Sports West: Washington at California (with Barry Tompkins, Petros Papadakis and Jim Watson)
==1 p.m., Channel 2 and CBSSports.com: SEC championship at Atlanta: No. 1 Alabama (12-0) vs. No. 4 Florida (11-1) (with Verne Lundquist, Gary Danielson and Tracy Wolfson)
==1 p.m., ESPN2: NCAA Division II semifinal: North Alabama at NW Missouri State (with Pam Ward and Ray Bentley)
