blindfold_musical_chairs.jpgFox Sports West has devised an alternative programming series that they hope Laker fans turn to after ABC's coverage of each NBA Final game, starting with Thursday's Game 1.

Teamming up with regional TV partner Sun Sports, FSN West will have a live, post-game show from the site after each game during the finals, combining employees from both networks. For all games in L.A., the show goes from Star Plaza outside the Stapes Center with Joel Meyers and Stu Lantz (the team's usual TV broadcast team) joined by Matt Goukas, the former Magic coach now with the Fox Sports Florida broadcast of Orlando games. Magic play-by-play man David Steele and FSWest's Patrick O'Neal will do reports and interviews. When the series is in Orlando, it'll go from the Club Blue site inside the Magic's Amway Arena. Steele will host, joined by Lantz and Goukas, with O'Neal and Paul Kennedy running around with microphones in hand.

The show will start at 9 p.m. for all 6 p.m. midweek tipffs and at 8 p.m. for those 5 p.m. Sunday tipoffs.
