Your (irregular) Erin Andrews update: She can take it on the chin

| | Comments (0) |

It came across TMZ.com yesterday as an exclusive. We waited to get verification from someone related to ESPN. So it's true, apparently:

While at Wednedsay's Dodgers-Mets game, working for ESPN, Erin Andrews was smacked in the chin by a foul ball in the fourth inning and "hustled to the hospital a few innings later, but only suffered a bruised chin" says the site (linked here).

ESPN's statement: "She's totally fine. The producers on site suggested she go to the hospital as a precaution. Doctors released her soon thereafter. She flew home as scheduled and is looking forward to working MLB All-Star events and the ESPYs (in L.A. next Wednesday) in the coming week."

Apparently there's no video, otherwise someone would have put it up by now. Or Nike confiscated it.
