Our Daily Dread: You gotta wake up pretty early in the morning to get the newest two-part dirt on a dead QB

capt-1-8d961d378baf4307b82d9ac5fb220cff-mcnair_killed_ny111.jpgSince there's no "CSI: Nashville" anytime soon, CBS' "The Early Show" will take the death of Steve McNair from here. Out of the say, gawkers.

Because of a three month investigation by Armen Keteyian, aka, "CBS News' Chief Investigative Correspondent" (not a phrase given to him by Comedy Central's "The Daily Show"), the July 4 death of the former Tennessee Titans quarterback will be blown wide open sometime during Monday morning's episode (Channel 2, 7 to 9 a.m.), because when you're half awake and need a Diet Coke just to figure out if you remembered to iron that shirt you need for work today, wrapping your head around a murder investigation fits right into your morn.

According to Nashville police, McNair was killed by his 20-year-old "girlfriend," who then took her own life, and whose name isn't important here. ESPN, thankfully, confirmed it (linked here).

Non-leiutennant Keteyian, however, has discovered "surprising new information that exposes critical flaws in the police investigation and raises troubling questions about the events leading up to the two deaths," according to CBS' public releations sluths.

It's a two-part "exclusive" investigation that apparently spans the two-hour show, to keep you watching.
