2006 Trib Football Preview pops TOMORROW!!!

| | Comments (40) |

Important things to know ...

No, this isn't our cover shot.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING:

1. Because this year's preview is soooooo long, it was kinda broken up into two sections. You will see the normal pull out section and there's another behind it. It might look like ads to you, which it is (not my call and not happy about it), but that is the final 12 pages of the section. I think most of you will figure it out.

2. Go to http://sgvtribune.com/preps for supplemental online coverage.

3. Audio/visual slideshow of this year's cover boys, no comment on who they are, will be available at http://sgvtribune.com/preps

4. Video interview with new Bishop Amat coach Mark Verti will be available at http://sgvtribune.com/preps

5. All of this should be available at 12:01 a.m. Thursday morning or as in tonight (in sports fan time). So if you can't wait, hit up the website later tonight before you go to bed.

6. Enjoy. I'm pretty sure you will.

I positively like this record, i did not bring about a lot of the things that you posted in here. i ahve much more new dope concerning these topics and topics coordinated to it. some people may tumble to it hard to understadn the english vernacular but i find it quite gentle for the solitariness that has discover to be what is todays policy.

Your RSS feed doesn't work in my browser (google chrome) how can I fix it?

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it'll do even better in those areas, but for now it's a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod's strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

There exists clearly some sort of bundle to help identify using this. When i feel you've made various great details inside capabilities likewise.

RC, no problem man, the valle vista league race will come down to COVINA and B.P..

TY,

My Bad!

TY said:

rc, The posted message is from the name on the bottom, not the name on top.Covina really plays team defense, no superstars, "except Mike" but a bunch of tough guys getting after it.. So please dont try and bash someone, and u cant even read this thread the correct way!!!!!!!!!!

rc said:

Covina a one man show?? TY you have not seen THE TEAM. They have a strong defense and the offance will not miss a beat. You have to see THE TEAM PLAY. You must have been under a rock all of last year. There is no one man show on the Colts! It is Show Time for the Colts. Do not open you mouth about things you do not know. When you get a chance to see the Colts play, you will see THE TEAM. They are the real deal baby!! So back off and stick to watching HSN. Stevie Wonder can see how good a TEAM the Colts are!!!!

South Hills & Los Altos...what a game! I played for the b2b championship team at los altos, and every day I see that bond we shared forming with this years team...we just need to get goin on all cylinders, and good things will happen. And mark my word...castaneda will be the next Felipe Aguilar, for those of you who remember.

You cant hide that conqueror pride...

Thanks A.T. thats gotta be a huge loss for Northview. it wouldnt suck to have him on the field, especially with that young lineup they have.

ty i think it was rumored he just wasnt going to play that is if you're talking about will davis which i think y ou are...

Yes SD stand for san dimas, but it doesnt mean im a san dimas fan. Im just from san dimas. Zero week here we come.

Amat vs St Paul one of the best rivalries in HS sports, its crunch time.

Go lancers...

West Covina - Should do well the rest of the way and have a good league record if they do not sustain too many injuries as MD makes them their tacking dummies in week 1.

So. Hills - Good solid program. Lost allot of player to graduation. Drop off season for them.

C.O. - Makes the playoffs but only gets to the quarter finals

Bishop Amat - Honest Amat Fan here. Has lots of talent. Lots of kids playing both ways which adds to injuries. Fletcher Knee injury could be a huge factor. Season could go either way. A good well coached winning team or a young team headed for doom and has to wait til next year. Will beat St. Paul tho

Los Altos - Takes their league. Goes to the playoffs and loses in Championship game.

Covina - One Man Show Mike M. Not much more after that.

Rowland - Way overrated!

TY said:

A.T., what happened to that kid from Northview that was a stud last year. i know they had 2, but 1 is supposed to be a senior this year. Did he transfer out, or is he just not playing football this year?

TY said:

SD, i hope that dont stand for san dimas, if so, u have no room to talk, for crying out loud its san dimas......the biggest joke in the valley...

SD said:

West Covina - too much hype (MD is going to have them for lunch) they dont know what D1 power feels like.
South Hills - Going to be a great game with LA, should have a good season
Charter Oak - Lots of tallent. Should have a good season
Bishop Amat - tallented yet unexperienced in all aspects. Still would run over all sgv teams. they will turn some heads..I think...
Demien - We will see..sound talented, can they hang?
Glendora - ehhh...who knows..its just glendora
Los Altos - Amat overflow grounds, great program though..
Covina - are they legitimate?
Bonita - dont know.. they should of been in the playoffs last year
Bassett, Workman, Garey, Gladstone, BP, LP all other teams....who cares!!!!
