Don't forget your mouthpiece ...

... Monday is the first day of practice.

Several SGV teams begin fall practice for the 2006 season on Monday.

I've spent the past week talking to several area coaches. The juices are definitely flowing. Some, not all, teams playing Week 0 games are opening on Monday. I'll be sleeping, of course, when they take the field. But by the time I get to the office, the first sessions will have already been completed. Unless you're interested in seeing kids run, get yelled at and puke, these practices really don't provide much for fans. But later in the week, the pads will come on and that's when the passing league hype officially ends.

Be on the lookout for three very good articles in the Trib this week. Two are about new coaches and their programs and one will be about the start of practice. It's about damn time!

come watch Bonita's football team, good LINEMEN there, dont be afraid..

hay big a when are you going to talk about all the big line men in sgv.

fat and over weight are the same things

if your 6'and 285 your fat and overweight get on a diet.

alright jared u dont need to post comments about ur self

glendora's weak side offensive tackle is a beast he's 6'285 stays low with great footwork

why would a center have great hands

x, yu hit it on the money i agree but i would like to here to lb and db anyway its just for fun.

So what team will capture the mythical SGV championship in 2006.

Apache, Arcadia only has one good QB, Nick Ponce. He might be the best in the valley this year. Besides him, there's a big drop off.

Its amazing how many guys their are telling AT all their stats from last year...that was last year...this is this year..he will make his rounds and phone calls so everyone should quit worrying about a pre season top positions ranking...if you are good he will hear about it...if you aren't then tough luck

Is that Roger's territory?

JoeMo was one of two Trib All-Area first teamers from SEM last year (Lee Aguirre the other). I was bummed to learn that he left SEM for St. Paul, but you do what you gotta do. I hope he does well there. He's property of the Whittier Daily News now.

CHECK OUT THE CENTER FROM WEST CO....HE IS A ANIMAL!!! 6'4" 266 very good on feet stays low with great hands ATHLETIC.....

CHECK OUT THE CENTER FROM WEST CO....HE IS A ANIMAL!!!
