I was looking forward to that comparison too Bluorca, to bad about Gaisie, tough year for Amat but good luck against Rancho C. As you said West Co has them next week but I hope their focused on Monrovia tonight.

Man...just when we were about to see where Amat stands in the Valley, we lose Gaisie. Thats like WC losing Wallace, Damien losing Mendrum, or BP losing Harris. I REALLY wanted to see how West Covina and Amat did with a common opponent (Rancho Cucamonga) but a fair comparison between both squads is now impossible with Amat's Gaisie on the sidelines... Unless of course, W. Wallace gets injured too but he's such an awesome and dominating player that I believe if there is any dishing out of injuries, Wallace is going to be the one doing the serving.
Lets include Gaisie, Team Amat, and all the SGV injured players in our prayers...

West Covina 38 Monrovia 17
Covina 26 Walnut 13
South Hills 34 Claremont 6 [Finally]
Damien 42 Los Altos 49
Charter Oak 13 Glendora 21
I'm telling you right now, Gaisie isn't playing tomorrow. Saw him at a practice the other day, still in a cast. I did however like what I saw on the offense. Both Sr. Fletcher #28 and Jr. Bonilla #27 were carrying the ball alot and hitting the holes hard. Never seen Rancho Cucamonga, but from what I'm told, they are HUGE...but speed beats size most of the time. AMAT has some speed on both sides of the ball, they just need to learn how to use it. I also saw that WR #1 [sophomore] was sent back to JV this week. This shouldn't be a problem as AMAT has many WR that are ready and willing to step up, most of them seniors that want to make this season work.
Rancho Cucamonga 21 Bishop Amat 34

We'll see about West Covina starting Tomorrow
at MoTown, they will have a tough 4 weeks coming up with Monrovia, Rancho C.,Ayala, & Charter Oak,
as far as I'm concerned any of these teams could be a loss for the Bulldogs, but tomorrow will make it a little clearer as to how good they are,
with a Monrovia team that just beat an ex D3 team in Arcadia, who is a team I read about in the Blogs all summer that were going to be good this year. Monrovia is supposed to have 5 potential D1 prospects and are not the same team
that West co rolled over the last couple of years, so we'll see how it goes. If they have the same intensity as in week 1 then they should be all right.

Here's a bonus cut (sort of) ... I like Amat to beat Rancho Cucamonga. I mean, Amat better beat Rancho Cucamonga. Uh, Amat can't lose to Rancho Cucamonga, can it? Please Amat, don't lose to Rancho Cucamonga.
Amat 30
Rancho Cucamonga 14

YA'LL DONT KNOW THIS BUT...Damien is going to school all of the SGV this year starting with Los Altos!
Spartans 42 Conquerors 17
Amat? With Gaisie (who IS team Amat), Lancers are gonna win...Without Gaisie, it would not surprise me if Amat lost.
Lancers 38 Cougars 20 (Only w/ Gaisie)
There is no one strong enough on West Covina's schedule to actually beat them this year. They are lucky they dont have to play Damien!
Bulldogs 33 Wildcats 17
