ok, here it is...Wells did hit the pylon, trust me, i was right there on the 5yd. line when it happened. it was an overall great game. Verti needed a moment in the season were he will be remembered. whether it was to be remembered as a hero or a moron was all up to Wells. i said it before, this kid is having a great Junior season. he can do it all...run, catch, throw...and the best part is he is only a junior...good luck to him and the rest of the AMAT Lancers aganist Chaminade and in the Serra League.

Het Aram,

Are you coming out of the closet yet and believing in AMAT football. Like we said before, the invitation to be a Lancer is there.

He may have touched the pylon but has anyone thought of him stepping out of bounds before he dove for the pylon? I high school Football its a shame that the refs have to give most the calls to the home team. Congrats to both teams on a hard fought game.

All he had to do was lighty skin the pylon or cross the plane with the ball and thats a TD at any level regardless of where your body ends up. It's a TD even if you end up in line at the snack bar after you get hit. If Dorian Wells keeps this up and if he stays healthy, you will be seeing him at the next level after he's made his mark at Amat after next year. I can see Verti moving him permanently from WR to RB (or maybe make him a permanent slot) depending on how McBride continues to develope. Gaisie's gonna graduate. This kid, though young, reminds me of a young Daylon McCutcheon who also started as a WR/DB his junior year and then was converted to a RB/DB his senior year. I know its too early to make a direct comparison but we'll see how well Wells continues to do. He just gets better and better every week...Amat has found a new hero. And there will be more! Oh yes...there will be more...
